Innovative Solutions in Livestock Productivity

FAVA is pleased to invite you to the upcoming event, “Innovative Solutions in Livestock Productivity”, on November 14, 2024 at 1.00-5.40 pm., at 60th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, BKK, Thailand. The special symposium is hosted by the Japan Veterinary Medical Association (JVMA) and supported by Faculty of Veterinary Science, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. The program is enriched of the invited speakers from Japan which are Prof. Naoki Miura (Kagoshima University), Assoc. Prof. Megumi Itoh (Obihiro University), Assoc. Prof. Takahiro Aoki (Obihiro University) and the additional speakers 16 speakers from 9 countries; Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Mongolia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, and Thailand
The program is conducted in the first half will feature lectures from leading Japanese professors in advanced research, followed by presentations from veterinarians across Asia who will discuss challenges and strategies in veterinary medicine, livestock health, and public health from their respective countries.
No registration fee for the attending. FAVA will definitely encourage the young veterinarians and students to attend the event as a valuable step towards exploring international career opportunities in Asia

About TPFAV II

In 2017 the Training Program for Asian Veterinarians II (TPFAV II) is implemented with financial support by Japan Racing and Livestock Promotion Foundation (JRL), and Japan Veterinary Medical Association (JVMA) organizes the program for the FAVA member countries. This program has been interested by the young veterinarians all around Asia.
Now we are in the 5th batch with more than 60 veterinarian attendants.
This program targets the participant who will take a leading role in their country/region. Target participants are selected from the following three categories; private sector, government and educators. The fields of Study at Japanese Universities are; Prevention of transboundary infectious animal diseases, “One Health” related themes such as avian influenza or antimicrobial resistance, Virology of livestock animals, Animal/Public health-related microbiology and parasitology, Pathology and pathophysiology of livestock, such as reproductive disorders and metabolic disorders, Clinical practice of large/small animal(s). The selection process will be proceeded by JVMA.
