To equip field veterinarians in the global fight towards AMR mitigation, the Federation of Asian Veterinary Associations – FAVA, hosted by the PVMA – Philippine Veterinary Medical Association and in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the USAID – US Agency for International Development is holding a free seminar entitled

The FAVA Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Pledge Campaign Workshop

Featuring Dr. Brian Lubbers, Associate Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the Kansas State University.

It will be held on 2 December 2023, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN at the Novotel Manila Araneta City, General Aguinaldo Avenue, Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.

Dr. Mary Joy Gordoncillo of the FAO, and Dr. Corazon P. Occidental and Dr. Eugenio Mende of FAVA will also be delivering their topics.

PVMA President Dr. Pastor Tumaliuan, Jr., and PVMA Auditor Dr. Lina S. Policarpio will likewise be sending their messages of support as Dr. Cherry F. Colorado, Assistant Professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of the Philippines Los Banos will serve as the Master of Ceremony.
